Been a couple days. Mama bought herself a new gaming handheld. Got the asus ROG ally. Oblivion is very pretty on it.

I've also been actually busy too though, I swear. On Tuesday (today is Friday) I went to a concert with Dyno. Was a combo of Primus/Puscifer/A Perfect Circle, and it was amazing. Dyno and I have seen Maynard Keenan live maybe actually five times? Every time I'm like, "homeboy is getting older and has been touring a lot the last few years, I better brace for a lackluster performance just in case" and every time Maynard is like "fuck you, I still got it" and screams his shriveled little heart out at least once. It was true this time too. He really went at it. The concert/tour was themed "sessanta" cuz he just turned 61. It was really great.

Also of note, this was my first time seeing Primus live. I don't typically get into their music, I'm only really familiar with them through my ex. Their frontman Les Claypool is a ridiculously skilled bassist though, so their live music was incredibly bouncy and fun, and I recognized more than I expected. Weird how much it reminded me of my ex, so a bit of a mixed bag there, but overall a fantastic experience.

The next day Dyno and I got up to go to breakfast before he left, and we heard a truck beeping outside... we peeked out the windows to see a gatorade semi literally reverse its way up my ENTIRE street. Homie was reversing for a solid quarter mile in the lane going the direction he was going, so he was staring all the drivers he was slowing down right in the face. He didn't hit anything. It was crazy.

We left right after and could see that something was going on in the direction the semi driver came from, and I didn't wanna deal with it so I just went down the street the other way. We had a nice breakfast, and then on our way back home I got in the turn lane at the light to get on my street and saw a bunch of people making U turns - you literally could not enter my street that way. City had it completely blocked off, three wooden sawhorses in a row. So I went all the way around to turn in on the other side, which takes a couple minutes cuz it's a big neighborhood, and then that shit was blocked too! Some of y'all may not get the significance of this but it is utterly bonkers that the entire road was closed. It's a major thoroughfare and leads into like four neighborhoods. I had to go through the back neighborhood and park behind our house, and some neighbors were out gabbing and told us that a damn water main had broken under our street.

We didn't have water for basically two days. It was a scramble to get to therapy and then buy some water and try to figure out if we needed to stay with kurt and jane. We're still drinking bottled gallons a neighbor gave us just in case, but we do have water now. When it first came back on our radiators were really wub wubbing like skrillex, it was terrifying. Crazy shit.

We also ordered delivery pizza twice during these three days so I really gotta hit the damn bike. Ya girl is a slug.

First pic is confetti from the concert. Dyno and I each picked up a piece and kept it last time they used confetti in a concert we attended, I think three years ago at Tool? So we did it this time too. Second pic is the water main break. That little white car barely made it out alive, y'all.
