Daily Share 65.1 (mother's day)
Yesterday was mother's day, but we decided we would use the day to celebrate Jane and I'd get my day next weekend. So we went over to the in laws house and Nate made pancakes and eggs.
Then his sibling crashed the party, came in bearing a plastic floral crown full of their hairs for me to wear, as an olive branch or something. I ran upstairs and hid with my baby. In the immortal words of big Sean, "I don't fuck with you." We went home when it became clear that Erica wasn't gonna nap there and I ran outta excuses to hide.
Jane felt bad later so she drove to our house and hung out with us and Erica for an hour or so. It was nice to see them play together in Erica's space.
I walked to the corner store for an ice cream sandwich to finish out my day. It was pretty aight, considering. I did almost step on flattened roadkill after pausing to take a picture of flowers.
The sandwich was delicious tho.
