Nate and I have been watching this show poker face. I told him last night, the mc reminds me of my god sister Sarah, who passed away a couple years ago. Erica's middle namesake. A ton of her mannerisms, her drifter lifestyle, the troubled with a good heart motif... It all reminded me of my Sarah bear. But mc Charlie is blonde and wears cowboy boots and is older than Sarah ever got to be.
Except tonight, we started season two, and now Charlie is sporting red curls and wearing knee high socks, just like her, and my heart just aches. The reminder is hard.
