Yesterday Erica had her 1y development check with the alliance for infants and toddlers, and she did well as usual. They're changing her assessments to once every six months instead of every three. I'm real grateful she's doing so well.
Last night was nice night talking with friends online. Now I'm out, supposed to be having a day to myself for my birthday tomorrow. Nate's taking care of Erica, which is great, but I don't really know what to do with myself at the moment. I'm a little sad, which is frustrating. Gonna have to push myself to enjoy myself, which is crazy. It be like that a bit though.
I meant to post yesterday that I thought up a new book binding technique and really rudimentary prototyping makes it seem kinda more doable. I'm sewing the whole thing together rather than using glue as is traditional. I hate the glue, tbh. So this is kinda exciting. That's my craft for yesterday. Today I dunno that I'll do any crafting, but I may go to an art store or something. Dunno.
Also bought myself some vegan leather shoes for my birthday yesterday. We're doin some birthday stuff right :)
